Ruth King is a self-described Profit & Wealth Guru who has spent her career helping business owners, CPAs, and financial professionals get and stay profitable, build wealth, and give back. Through her company Business Ventures Corporation, which she has led since 1983, she has advised small and medium businesses for more than four decades on the systems, processes, and financial discipline that separate the companies that thrive from the ones that don't.

Ruth is a chemical engineer by training, with degrees from Tufts University and the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University. She was an early pioneer of online education and broadcasting, launching internet training in 1998 and building some of the first television-style channels for small business. She is also the bestselling author of multiple books, including The Courage to be Profitable and The Ugly Truth about Cash, the latter named one of 37 books every startup should read, alongside the works of Napoleon Hill, Stephen Covey, and Dale Carnegie.
