Michael Hall is a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, where he has spent four decades working with successful individuals, business leaders, and families. The Managing Director title is reserved for advisors who exemplify exceptional performance, strong ethical standards, and meaningful community involvement, and Michael has been recognized among the firm's top advisors each year since 2023 as a Chairman's Club Member, and named by Forbes as one of New York's "Best-in-State Wealth Advisors" every year since 2020.
He is also part of a select group of Morgan Stanley advisors designated as a Global Sports and Entertainment Director, serving prominent individuals across sports, entertainment, and related industries. He is especially drawn to working with founders and business owners, in part because of his own personal experience starting, running, and selling a family business.
For years, Michael has closely researched the development of artificial intelligence, both for its impact on society and the opportunities it creates for his clients. He seeks to help the top business leaders and entrepreneurs use AI and other exponential technologies to accelerate their endeavors, and to share what he learns so they're better positioned for the years ahead.
Beyond his work, Michael is passionate about longevity and continuous self-development, and he carries a purpose that reaches well beyond his own clients. His MTP is to raise financial literacy in the U.S. by educating young people, opening more doors for the next generation, taking people out of poverty and enabling them to live fuller lives. His Moonshot is to start a worldwide financial literacy foundation.
Michael lives on the North Shore of Long Island with his wife, Christine, and their four children. In his free time, he stays active through tennis, hiking, and cycling, and by working on his longevity plan.
