Ani Chahal Honan is the Founder and Managing Partner of IMAGINE, a global deep tech ecosystem advancing innovation for societal and planetary benefit. IMAGINE brings together capital, venture studios, frontier labs, regional hubs, and community spaces to build transformative technologies across intelligence, biological, and physical systems—grounded in the belief that humanity, technology, and the planet should remain at the center of company creation.

Across her Silicon Valley career, Ani has worked alongside pioneers in AI, robotics, blockchain, biotech, and spatial technologies, contributing to companies with more than $49B in successful exits. Emerging from stealth this year, IMAGINE is part of one of the largest independent coalitions of AI scientists beyond Big Tech, advancing beneficial AGI, sovereign AI, and an Intelligence Economy rooted in human agency, shared ownership, and whole-person health. XPRIZE is among its early partners.

What sets Ani apart is her focus on wellbeing. Her ecosystem builds the mental and emotional resilience of creators into how companies are formed, rather than treating it as an afterthought. Her MTP captures this simply: “How do we transform unnecessary human suffering into play and purpose?”

Ani has been honored by the U.S. Congress, the UN, and the California State Treasurer, and recognized as a Kate Spade World Changing Woman. She advises Horasis Global, contributes to the Milken Institute’s Power of Ideas, and was recently invited to the XPRIZE Foundation Board of Trustees. She also supports mental health, psychedelic science, compassion, and consciousness initiatives.
